Awaken To Your True Potential

Over the course of 6 sessions I will share everything I have discovered in the accelerated advancement of my knowledge since awakening Kundalini Shakti two and a half years ago and the practices that got me there. The objective is to help you build a whole new relationship with the way you approach and communicate with yourself and how you connect with the world around you. By the end of the course you will have a complete daily go-to spiritual practice that will stay with you forever.

Kundalini Shakti

When activated correctly, Kundalini can accelerate your spiritual awakening like nothing else. This divine force, also known as Shakti, lies dormant in every individual from birth. Through specific practices, it can be awakened, allowing this energy to rise through your chakras. As it flows, it fills your entire being—body, mind, and spirit—with pure universal love and bliss, opening the door to infinite love and boundless joy.

Even though I had been practicing physical yoga for over 20 years the concept of Kundalini was not spoken of. It wasn’t until this latent energy awoke within me that I realised the true goal of yoga.

Far more than just energy, Kundalini represents the evolutionary journey of your consciousness. Symbolised as a coiled serpent at the base of your spine, its spirals reflect the path of growth from earthly awareness to a connection with the cosmos.

Session 1: Connect with the Universe

In this introductory session we will explore the ultimate goal of yoga and the quest for the true self. The universe is a beautiful dance of energy (Shakti) and awareness (Shiva), and we’re all a part of it! You experience this universal energy as Prana (Yoga) /Qi (Taoist)—the vital life-force flowing within and around you. When your Prana is low, it can leave you feeling tired, anxious, or even stuck in a low mood. But the good news? Learning how to harness and guide this energy is the first step toward unlocking your true potential.

In this session, we’ll explore:

  • Sri Guru Pādukā Mantra by Guruji Amritananda to invoke Shiva & Shakti and the guru within

  • How Prana connects you to the energetic universe.

  • Qi Gong to access Prana from the universe around you.

  • The mind/body complex - Who/What am I?

  • The Chakra System Ida, Pingala, and Sushumna—the primary energy channels that guide life force through your body.

  • Kundalini as inner intelligence and map of the evolutionary journey of your consciousness.

  • Chakra Beej Mantras

  • We’ll culminate the session with a relaxing Yoga Nidra to balance the Chakras & surrender to Prana.

Session 2: Grounding & Balancing

In this module, we’ll explore the first two chakras—Muladhara (Root Chakra) and Svadhisthana (Sacral Chakra) —and learn to work with the powerful elements of earth and water.

These energies are the foundation of your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. By connecting with them, you can start to overcome procrastination, release feelings of fear or hopelessness, and heal the wounds of past experiences.

Emotions are energy in motion, and through this work, you’ll begin to understand how to channel and transform them to support your growth and vitality.

Session 3: Awakening Your Inner Fire

In this session, we’ll explore the Manipura (Solar Plexus Chakra)—and learn how to light your inner fire and burn up the karmic seeds of unfulfilled desires, negative emotions and habit patterns. We’ll also discover how the Chinese Yogis refer to the navel point as the lower tan tien and that we can store energy here to draw from whenever we need it.

Session 4: Opening the Heart – Bridging Heaven and Earth

The Anahata (Heart Chakra) is the gateway between the material and spiritual realms. This session focuses on cultivating unconditional love, compassion, and balance as we harmonise the dualities of existence. The heart chakra enables us to experience joy, peace, and a sense of purpose, transcending the ego-driven emotions of lower chakras. Practices such as Hum Sa meditation and Anahata Mudra help to activate this centre, generating a pillar of light that bridges heaven and earth.

Drawing on the air element, we examine the emotional and behavioural patterns tied to the heart chakra when it is overactive or underactive.

Chanting heart-focused mantras and exploring the symbolism of Krishna provide deeper insights into this energy centre's transformative potential.

Session 5: The Power of Communication and Inner Vision

In this session, we explore the Vishuddha (Throat Chakra) and Ajna (Third Eye Chakra), the gateways to expanded communication and spiritual insight. The Throat Chakra governs our ability to express truth and creativity, while the Third Eye is the centre of intuition and higher vision. Working with the ether element, we learn techniques like Kechari Mudra and inner gazing to enhance communication and unlock the inner visionary's potential.

Through chanting and meditation, we explore Brahma’s Cave in the midbrain and activate the cerebrospinal fluid's flow, opening pathways to heightened states of consciousness. Practices such as Omkara sound meditation and Jyoti Mudra allow us to deepen our connection with the subtle realms, dissolving the ego and embodying a state of spiritual receptivity.

  • The session will culminate with a restorative yoga nidra

Session 6: Sahasrara – The Ultimate Awakening

Our final gathering in the course centres on the Sahasrara (Crown Chakra), the culmination of our spiritual journey. Here, we connect with the divine through the awakening of Kundalini energy. Practices like Chanting mantras dedicated to Lalitha Tripura Sundari, the divine goddess, helps dissolve barriers between the human and spiritual realms and experience the ultimate awakening: a state of oneness and divine realisation. The Sahasrara serves as the bridge between the physical and the infinite, enabling us to integrate spiritual wisdom into our daily lives. This final lesson provides the tools for ultimate liberation and fulfilment, bringing our journey full circle.
