Afternoon Exploration & Activities
Each afternoon brings something different, offering a balance of relaxation, self-discovery, and adventure. Whatever you do there is no pressure, the choice is always yours. Some days, we’ll unwind at the villa with mantra chanting, yoga theory discussions, intention setting, or a gentle Yin Yoga practice.
For those seeking more exploration, there’s the opportunity to venture on short excursions to nearby places, including:
Asilah – Just 8 km from Douar Dmina, this charming coastal town boasts a picturesque medina, perfect for a leisurely wander.
Tangier – 1 hour drive away is the city of Tangier. If enough people wanted to go we could organise a day trip to explore its vibrant markets, cafés, and cultural heritage.
Nature lovers will love the scenic 30-minute walk to the sea (a bit longer on the way back, as the path gently ascends). Walkers can extend the route along the Atlantic coastline to the vast dunes.
For a deeper sense of connection, we’ll also visit:
A sacred grove on the opposite hill – A hidden, mystical spot with a profound sense of peace.
Aux Figuiettes – A meditative walk through a labyrinth, inspired by the ancient design in Chartres, France.
The Yoga Space
In the heart of the villa’s lush olive grove, there’s a stunning circular pergola, offering uninterrupted views of the sparkling ocean. This serene spot, framed by centuries-old olive trees, invites moments of quiet contemplation and connection with nature.

Our food will be prepared by our in-house chefs. Meals will be served on the terrace facing the sea weather permitting. Every morning we will enjoy a refreshing hot drink before starting our yoga practice. All food is vegetarian. There will also be vegan options. Sacred Cacao Ceremony
On one of the days, you can choose to participate in a Sacred Cacao Ceremony, where Leah will guide you on a journey to connect with Mother Cacao.
Sacred Cacao Ceremony is a heart-opening, meditative experience that uses ceremonial-grade cacao to facilitate deep connection, reflection, and healing. Rooted in ancient Mayan and Aztec traditions, cacao has long been considered a sacred plant medicine, revered for its ability to enhance emotional well-being, creativity, and spiritual awareness.

Late September in Tangier is warm and pleasant, with daytime temperatures averaging around 24–28°C (75–82°F) and cooler evenings around 18–22°C (64–72°F). The humidity is moderate, and there's usually a light coastal breeze. Rain is rare, but you might get the occasional short shower. It's a great time to visit—still summery but without the intense heat of mid-summer. Perfect for sightseeing, beach days, and exploring the medina!m description
