Body, Mind & Spirit

These classes integrate pranayama, asana, and meditation all into one practice. A great way to lift your energy and feel more grounded.

Asana

This yoga class offers the perfect opportunity to unwind and reconnect with yourself, whether you're a beginner or an advanced practitioner. We start with a gentle warm-up, tailored to your individual needs, to prepare both body and mind for the practice ahead. As you flow through poses designed to enhance strength, flexibility, and balance, you'll connect deeply with your breath and the sensations within your body.

Please note, students should be able to comfortably move up and down from the floor. Bring a towel or mat, and avoid eating for 1.5 to 2 hours before class for the best experience.

Kriya

Kriya originates from the Sanskrit word meaning "action" or "deed" and refers to a set of techniques designed to purify the body and mind, facilitating spiritual growth. These techniques were popularised in the modern era by Paramahansa Yogananda through his teachings in Kriya Yoga, which integrates breath control, meditation, and disciplined practices to accelerate spiritual evolution.

During these sessions you will be introduced to kriyas that will help transcend physical consciousness, leading to deep states of meditation and heightened spiritual awareness.

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation technique that induces a state of deep relaxation, reducing stress, anxiety, and tension. While in this profound relaxation, you remain consciously aware, allowing for inner exploration and healing.

Often referred to as "yogic sleep,"Yoga Nidra is not merely relaxation; it is a scientifically-backed method that taps into the depths of your consciousness. By seamlessly combining the ancient principles of mindfulness with the insights of modern neuroscience, Yoga Nidra offers a systematic approach to achieve deep relaxation while maintaining heightened awareness.

The benefits of Yoga Nidra extend beyond the traditional realms of relaxation, reaching into the very fabric of your mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Scientific studies validate its capacity to reduce stress, enhance sleep quality, and boost overall cognitive function. This practice acts as a powerful tool in managing anxiety, improving focus, and promoting a profound sense of inner peace.

Discover the transformative potential of this practice as it leads you towards holistic well-being and a deeper connection with your inner self.

Sound Healing

During the Yoga Nidra we will incorporate the powerful healing properties of sound vibration and crystal bowls. These elements are not just relaxing—they work on a deeper level to harmonise your body's energy, reduce stress, and promote emotional balance. The vibrations from the crystal bowls resonate with the body's energy centres, helping to clear blockages and create a sense of inner peace. This soothing sound bath complements the physical practice, allowing you to unwind even further and reconnect with your true self.

Experience the profound benefits of sound healing as it amplifies the effects of your yoga practice, leaving you feeling deeply refreshed and rejuvenated.
